Copper is key to our low-carbon future, at the heart of electrification and green energy. The copper industry understands it has a responsibility to not only meet a growing global demand, but do it sustainably.

Our Roadmap to Zero Project delivers on that promise. Working with many partners we are creating a framework for change, one that not only draws on the latest global innovation, but enlists industry wide collaboration between mining companies, government, METs, academics, startups and more to help us deliver zero-emissions copper mines of the future.

The Report Overview launched in 2020 identified five key themes–Water, Material Movement, Mineral Processing, Ventilation and Discovery. The completed Reports are being uploaded to the ConnectOre digital knowledge platform for use by the industry and others in November 2024.
