This year’s Copper To The World conference will be held in Adelaide, South Australia on August 26-27 with the overarching theme of “The Copper Advantage: Powering the Future.”

Hosted by Austmine in partnership with the South Australian Government, the high powered industry get together will explore how copper is powering the future through mining and technology innovation.

The two day gathering will feature keynote presentations from industry leaders and experts, specialist panels on pressing challenges in the copper sector, innovation sessions on next generation technologies, and structured networking opportunities like receptions and dedicated networking events.

Copper To The World will also run an Exhibition Hub where projects and cutting-edge Mining Equipment, Technology & Services—METS—companies and startups will be on hand.

A stand out this year is ConnectOre, a next generation, industry wide collaborative, digital platform powered by AI that will be the focus of a panel discussion on day one called “From Ore to Opportunity: The global copper imperative.” Aiming to turbo charge innovation, ConnectOre identifies new knowledge, helps connect experts and organisations, champions breakthroughs, and highlights ideas and trends.

“ConnectOre is designed to enable more informed decision-making and speed innovative partnerships and projects,” John Fennell from the International Copper Association Australia—ICAA—said. “ICAA will also be hosting a booth in the Exhibition Hub where we will invite visitors to trial the ConnectOre platform.”
