Ingenious Extraction is OZ Minerals first ‘Think and Act Differently’ incubator challenge.

This is a challenge focused on finding new ways to extract metals like copper, gold, silver and cobalt from their concentrates.

OZ are aiming at producing products with a very small environmental footprint while creating as much value as they can for all of their stakeholders.

This means eliminating carbon emissions along the entire value chain, reducing water consumption and minimising the waste that they produce. To get there they’re exploring alternative ways for producing metal products directly from copper concentrate onsite at their operations.

Early stage and novel concepts are encouraged as are commercially ready solutions.

OZ Minerals have partnered with Unearthed for this challenge and detailed information is available on https://unearthed.solutions/

You can find out a lot more information, including an introductory video, here: https://www.ozminerals.com/tad/ingenious-extraction-challenge/

This is a very exciting program and I encourage you to get involved.

Cheers
